Orchard sprayers of OCTOPUS series depending on the version are intended for making treatments on lingeous crops - eg. currant and on row crops - eg. strawberry, in which the assist of the air stream is necessary.

OCTOPUS series may be equipped in three kinds of turbines type SAD/P, SAD/T and SAD/TP. Each one of the turbines consists of a centrifugal fan of 470 mm diameter and max. efficiency 16 000 m3/h, a jet pump that divides air stream proportionally to ten tubes ended with special diffusers, in which the nozzles are mounted. Certain turbines have different supporting structures and are adapted for various specific applications.

- SAD/P – used in mounted and trailed sprayers, the diffusers are distributed over the lattice construction adjustable vertically and horizontally; intended for lingeous crops - currant, raspberry, etc.

- SAD/T – used in mounted and trailed sprayers, diffusers are distributed over the boom folded along the sprayer, closed mechanically; spacing of the diffusers is adjustable, the boom is lifted mechanically with hydraulic stabilisation; intended for row crops such as strawberry, wild strawberry, cucumber, lettuce, cabbage, radish, etc.

- SAD/TP – used in trailed sprayers, combines functionality of both above mentioned turbines, diffusers are distributed over the boom folded mechanically upwards behind the sprayer, lifted mechanically with hydraulic stabilisation; spacing of the diffusers is adjustable; after spreading, the boom can be used in row crops just like the T-type turbine, while when folded, it can be used like P-type turbine - in lingeous crops.
